They are seeking an Intern in Yield Engineering to analyze supply chain solutions, provide management consulting, and support business opportunities through data analysis and innovative tools.

Responsibilities
Complete operational modeling, performance measurement, market research
Other duties and projects, as assigned
Provide timely, accurate and actionable data and analysis to decision makers at all levels
Communicate on a daily basis with ArcBest's nationwide sales teams regarding the interpretation, negotiation, and administration of pricing arrangements
Understand various ArcBest business units/services and their respective pricing structure and objectives
Identify and evaluate profit and yield improvement opportunities
Determine cost projections and/or potential efficiency improvements on both new and existing business opportunities
Maintain a positive attitude while driving desired results
Conduct business and financial analysis
Work in a team setting to accomplish corporate, departmental and individual goals
Qualification
Required
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in in a technical field, such as Industrial Engineering or Mathematics, required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and a programming language such as VBA, R, Python, or SQL
Superior analytical and leadership skills
