Business Development Representative
Crumdale Specialty is a diversified insurance firm providing custom healthcare solutions and is seeking a Business Development Representative. In this role, you will drive broker partner growth by prospecting leads, securing appointments, and collaborating with Regional Sales Directors to support sales strategies.
Responsibilities
Identify, research, and pre-qualify prospective broker partners that align with Crumdale’s distribution model
Educate prospective brokers on Crumdale’s solutions through initial outreach
Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors to support regional sales strategies and territory expansion
Execute strategic outreach campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate consistent First-Time Appointments (FTAs)
Partner with RSDs to build and refine outreach sequences within CRM
Maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline to support assigned RSD’s
Support broader sales initiatives and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in a business development, sales support, or inside sales role (insurance or healthcare experience preferred)
Familiarity with the self-insured market or interest in learning about cost containment solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport over phone, email, and video
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Coachable, collaborative, and excited to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms
