Auditor, Clinical Documentation and Education
North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an Auditor for Clinical Documentation and Education. This role is responsible for conducting clinical documentation audits, analyzing trends, and providing education to enhance documentation accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive CDI audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices
Analyze audit findings, billing trends, and documentation deficiencies to provide data-driven insights for improving accuracy, reducing denials, and protecting revenue
Collaborate with the New Site Implementation Team to ensure effective clinical documentation reviews for new facilities
Provide training and education to staff on documentation requirements, promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the organization
Prepare reports, executive summaries, and educational materials to communicate audit findings and recommendations to leadership
Support the RCM Front-End Business Continuity Plan to maintain documentation quality and revenue capture during facility EMR downtimes
Stay current on industry updates, regulatory changes, and evolving documentation standards to ensure ongoing compliance and process improvement
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years coding experience
Strong knowledge of clinical documentation compliance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Must have and maintain a coding credential through AAPC or AHIMA
Must have or obtain CDEO or similar certification, within 1 year of employment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to support documentation, reporting, and presentations
Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear and concise communications
Preferred
Extensive knowledge of medical billing software and electronic medical records
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with providers, RCM teams, and leadership in a professional and respectful manner
Ability to simplify complex information, making clinical documentation guidelines easy to understand for diverse audiences
