Postdoctoral Fellow - Leukemia
The Komen Graduate Training Program at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to join their leukemia research laboratory. Conducting experimental research on leukemia
Immune and inflammation-based studies in leukemia
Developing and utilizing in vitro and in vivo models for leukemia research
Performing molecular and cellular biology experiments
Engaging in functional genomics studies
Expertise in Incucyte or other cell killing assays
Expertise in flow cytometry analysis
Collaborating with both experimental and computational team members
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Molecular and Cellular biology, hematology etc)
Demonstrated experience with leukemias
Proficient in cellular molecular biology techniques
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Independently able to read and interpret scientific literature, design experiments, troubleshoot experiments and present their work
Preferred
Robust background in acute myeloid leukemia, stem cell studies, preclinical studies, molecular biology, functional genomics, therapeutic targeting
Expertise in Incucyte or other cell killing assays
Expertise in flow cytometry analysis
Experience in conducting experimental research on leukemia
Experience in immune and inflammation-based studies in leukemia
Experience in developing and utilizing in vitro and in vivo models for leukemia research
Experience in engaging in functional genomics studies
