The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing plans, preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, and collaborating with project management teams to ensure project feasibility and profitability.

Responsibilities
Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and codes to develop accurate project estimates
Calculate required materials, equipment, and labor for electrical projects
Prepare competitive and compliant bids in line with company standards
Monitor labor and material pricing trends to maintain accurate cost databases
Provide recommendations to optimize project efficiency and profitability
Collaborate with preconstruction and project management teams to ensure alignment on scope and estimates
Evaluate whether to build in-house or subcontract certain project components
Qualification
Required
2+ years of commercial estimating and project management experience within electrical construction
Solid understanding of electrical trade practices and NEC codes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and estimating software such as Accubid
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for precise estimating
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
