The PMO will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machines, ensuring efficiency and quality, and communicating effectively with team members.

Responsibilities
Running, changing over, efficiency and quality of 3-5 packaging machines
Communicating changes and plans to Team Member’s in immediate area and supervision
Set up and operation of packaging equipment
Following precise recipes and work procedures
Monitoring and adjusting variables
Performing product quality tests and data collection
Reacting to direction from quality assurance and management personnel
Using hand tools
Qualification
Required
Dedication, Dependability, and a Willingness to learn are a must
Ability to run, change over, and ensure efficiency and quality of 3-5 packaging machines
Ability to communicate changes and plans to Team Members in immediate area and supervision
Ability to perform a required set of tasks on a computer at specific times throughout the shift
Set up and operation of packaging equipment
Follow precise recipes and work procedures
Monitor and adjust variables and perform product quality tests and data collection
Ability to react to direction from quality assurance and management personnel
Exposure to allergens, chemicals, extreme equipment and temperatures
Ability to multi-task and prioritize throughout the day
Use of hand tools
Ability to work well with others

Ability to work through problems to find root causes and address issues for Mechanical and Automation Equipment
Basic computer skills required to run production
Effectively manage his/her own time
Complete changeovers in allotted time and plan breaks around lulls in activity
Flexibility for the training period and availability for pre-shift meetings when applicable
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed
Ability to move, twist, or lift up to 60lbs and team lift 75 lbs
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
Ability to be on his/her feet for twelve (12+) hours
Ability to keep up with a fast, repetitious pace and perform repetitious lifting
Willingness and availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as per business needs
Undergoing training during the day shift for at least 2 to 4 weeks
