Responsibilities

Perform all Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT exams according to department protocols

Review patient histories, obtain consents, and complete documentation

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately

Monitor and manage “Hot Lab” operations per State of New Hampshire regulations

Ensure radiation safety practices following ALARA principles

Operate RIS, PACS, and scheduling systems proficiently

Provide compassionate, respectful patient care and support

Assist Radiologists with procedures and train new personnel

Perform routine quality control procedures for equipment and processes

Qualification

Nuclear MedicinePET/CT ImagingRadiopharmaceutical AdministrationARRT(N) CertificationNH Medical Imaging LicenseCompassionate Patient CareMultitaskingEffective Communication

Required

Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program

Certified by ARRT(N) or NMTCB; licensed by the NH Board of Medical Imaging

Willing to obtain PET Certification within 18 months of hire

Able to multitask, prioritize, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

One to two years of Nuclear Medicine and/or PET/CT experience

Additional ARRT(CT), NMTCB(CT), or NMTCB 'PET' certification
