Responsibilities
Demonstrates the ability to interact in a positive and helpful manner with patients, visitors, physicians, volunteers, and co-workers. Reflects commitment to building a supportive work environment and maintains a positive attitude
Enters prescription orders. Processes and prepares for the pharmacist to check
Compounds pharmaceutical products such as ointments, creams and other medications according to rules and regulations
Prepares inventory, orders supplies and stocks shelves in the pharmacy
Appropriately uses resources, such as inventory and supplies
Rotates through all work areas of the pharmacy
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization
Qualification
Required
Pharmacy Technician | North Dakota Board of Pharmacy | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) | Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members
