Responsibilities
Drafting and prosecuting patents within ASM’s diverse technology portfolio
Building strong relationships with inventors and staying informed about R&D advancements
Managing outside counsel and implementing global IP prosecution strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, materials science, physics, mechanical engineering, or related disciplines
Qualified as a patent attorney or patent agent in a major jurisdiction (e.g., US, EP, KR, or JP)
Proven experience in patent drafting, IP portfolio management, and supervising external counsel
Knowledge of IP-related contracts and other IP types such as trademarks or trade secrets
Preferred
Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly
A proven ability to adapt and excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments
