Responsibilities

Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort

Perform radiographic exams

Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality

Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner

Consistently works independently and operates all equipment with minimal assistance to performance procedures

Check supplies/stocks room and maintains general cleanliness in department

Assists in printing films and retrieval of reports

May be required to work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate internal/external customers past schedules hours

Reports environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel

Qualification

Required

IEMA licensing required

Certificate or Associate's degree from an accredited radiology program

CPR certification required

ARRT registry eligible required

Previous radiology experience required

Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
