Mid LevelTesla is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to develop and engineer new processes and high-volume automation equipment with the Rotor team in Austin, TX. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new Drive Unit manufacturing equipment, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and output.

Responsibilities
Develop new highly automated manufacturing lines from concept to production
Drive equipment and process optimization to increase yield, throughput, and availability while reducing cost and lead-time
Manage installation, qualification, and ramp of manufacturing lines
Lead validation of production processes and automated inspection tools
Generate machine specifications, standards, and documentation
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with high-volume and pilot manufacturing
Proven track record of data driven methodology to solve complex problems
Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD or other 2D/3D CAD software
Manufacturing process development, specification and evaluation experience
Experience directing complex projects
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
