Weaver is a full-service national accounting, advisory and consulting firm that values a diverse and collaborative workplace. They are seeking a Strategic Financial Transformation Senior Manager or Director to lead client engagements and expand advisory services in the New York City market.

Responsibilities

Execute client engagement objectives while also building and supervising a team
IPO planning and readiness
SEC reporting, including MD&A and Proforma financials for registration
Initial public offering support
Complex accounting treatment analysis
Accounting standards implementation
Pre and post-merger acquisition accounting assistance
Accounting methodology conversion

Qualification

CPACMA certificationIPO readiness experienceSEC reporting experienceComplex accounting analysisIntegrated ITERP experiencePublic company audit experienceClient relationship managementBusiness development skillsTeam managementMentoring staff

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
CPA or CMA certification
8+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, consulting or industry roles, including public company audit and/or SEC financial reporting experience
Strong integrated IT and ERP experience
Thorough understanding of complex accounting issues, current standards and regulatory requirements
Experience leading clients through complex financial transactions
Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
Strong relationship management and practice development skills
Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients

Preferred

Master's degree in related field
