Responsibilities
Host pre-scheduled appointments with members
Guide members through tax planning
Research complex issues to develop innovative strategies
Make financial concepts easy to understand
Build vibrant and encouraging relationships with members
Qualification
Required
4-year degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience)
2+ years experience in consumer finance or tax work (mortgages, insurance, college planning, financial aid, investments, retirement planning, estate planning, tax structuring and planning, etc.)
Enrolled Agent, CPA, Tax Agent, or comparable certifications
Proven track record persuading clients to engage in value-added services and solutions
Motivational skills to inspire behavioral change around personal financial habits
Superlative listening skills that lead you to empathy and understanding
A high level of skill and comfort with technology
An openness to a culture of continuous development and improvement
A passion for helping people in need

U.S. Citizenship is required for this specific role
Ability to travel on occasion may be required
Preferred
Background in working with military service members
Previous military experience or experience supporting military service members
