Responsibilities

Preparing studies, evaluations, local and state documentation for all types and sizes of environmental projects
Ability to work independently and demonstrate competence in the area of technical report writing related to technical reports and regulatory (Federal, State, local) permitting documents
Experience with local government permitting, GIS mapping, environmental compliance, permitting, and agency consultations
Working with clients, resource agencies, environmental and technical staff to prepare environmental documents and related technical studies
Developing, cultivating, and strengthening relationships with clients
Assist with developing business for the Mid-Atlantic ENS Global Practice
Other duties, as assigned

Required

B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Science, Planning, Geography, Landscape Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning, or Natural and/or Cultural Resources Management or related field from an accredited university
Minimum 4 years related professional experience (consulting experience highly preferred)
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required to develop and maintain relationships
Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with GPS and excellent writing skills
Strong experience working in the ArcGIS Pro environment
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
Strong experience working with both private and public-sector clients

Preferred

Specific experience in electric transmission, transportation, renewables, and other similar markets is preferred
Local and regional knowledge and relationships with existing clients is preferred
Business development in both sectors is beneficial
