Bridge Engineer (2-5 Years)
Garver is an employee-owned engineering firm specializing in various services including transportation and environmental solutions. They are seeking a Bridge Engineer for their North Little Rock, AR office to provide technical expertise in bridge design and related tasks, while also offering opportunities for project management as experience is gained.

Responsibilities
Design and load rating of simple and/or continuous span prestressed bridges
Design and load rating of simple and/or continuous span steel bridges
Design of retaining wall and sign support structures
Bridge repair/rehabilitation design
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET program
2 - 5 years of experience
Strong communication skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT)
Design and detailing experience with prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, and structural steel
Experience with MicroStation, structural analysis and design software
Preferred
Master's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program with structural emphasis
Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Familiarity with the American Association of Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Bridge Design Specifications is desired
Experience in planning and design for bridges
