They are seeking a Staff Structural Engineer to specialize in the design, investigation, and rehabilitation of building structures and enclosures, while supporting project delivery and client interaction.

Responsibilities

Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer

Participate in pre-task planning to establish safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects

Assist in developing the scope of work and budgets for routine project proposals

Assist in planning and preparing for investigations and other field work

Assist in the preparation of Drawings, Specifications, and Inspection reports

Analyze data and perform engineering calculations and analysis for PE review

Work closely with senior-level project managers and Professional Engineers to gain project management and engineering experience

Make design recommendations, adaptations and modifications for review and consideration by the Professional Engineer of Record

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, specifications, and other project related documents

Prepare work scope, proposals and reports and plans investigations for approval by senior-level professionals

Work with our project team to interact with our client and communicate project progress

Civil EngineeringEngineer-in-Training (EIT)Engineering CalculationsProject ManagementCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) certification required

Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering preferred
