Responsibilities
Own end-to-end product design, from early ideation through polished, shipped experiences
Create Spur’s visual identity—including brand, design system, and style guidelines
Design entirely new user workflows that make complex systems feel fast, intuitive, and powerful
Drive a culture of craft, where design quality and attention to detail are valued across the company
Work closely with engineering and product to shape the roadmap through a design lens
Help define our voice and presence—not just in-product, but across marketing and how Spur shows up in the world
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in design
Experience with Figma
Ability to own end-to-end product design, from early ideation through polished, shipped experiences
Ability to create visual identity, including brand, design system, and style guidelines
Experience designing new user workflows that make complex systems feel fast, intuitive, and powerful
Ability to drive a culture of craft, where design quality and attention to detail are valued across the company
Ability to work closely with engineering and product to shape the roadmap through a design lens
Ability to help define voice and presence across marketing and product
Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring structure where none exists
Ability to move quickly without sacrificing craft and polish
Experience shipping complex, high-quality products, ideally with 2+ years of experience designing for technical or ops-heavy users
Preferred
Prior experience founding a company or building products at early stages
Ambitious and driven, with a strong desire to do great work with great people
Passion for ML/AI and its potential in product design
