Responsibilities

Partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders—including front office teams and senior management—you’ll identify, communicate, and manage opportunities to drive more efficient outcomes across the organisation

Collaborating closely with the broader Finance group, you’ll assess and manage risks associated with new proposals, ensuring alignment with Macquarie’s strategic objectives and risk appetite

Required

CPA qualification or equivalent

Experience in accounting advisory or transaction advisory roles—ideally within banking, financial services, or commodities

Strong knowledge of accounting for Financial Instruments and Revenue Recognition

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex accounting issues for diverse stakeholders

A commercial mindset, translating accounting theory into practical, commercially viable solutions
