Electrical Engineer (Ph.D.)

Responsibilities
Performing analysis/consulting on a variety of scientific/engineering problems in a variety of electrical/electronic components, products, and systems
Supporting project areas that include both reactive and proactive issues facing our clients: failure analysis; risk assessment; reliability; design; manufacturing; and others
Working as an individual contributor as well as in multidisciplinary teams
Participating at every stage of a project lifecycle: scoping and proposals; design of experiments; conducting and supervising tests; collecting and analyzing data; preparing reports; and presenting to clients
Pursuing business development opportunities
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field such as Applied Physics
Technical focus in electronics, semiconductors, circuits, electromagnetics, power electronics, batteries, or related cross-disciplinary areas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with electrical test equipment, designing, validating and conducting electrical tests, and troubleshooting
Ability to convey technical conclusions to both technical and non-technical staff in engineering, business, and industry
Self-starter with strong fundamentals, interested in learning about new topics
