Responsibilities

Take ownership of monthly financials and management reporting of the Global Private Bank's ~250B Deposit business; including oversight of all financial reporting for deposits, monitoring activity throughout the month end close and providing management with regular updates on monthly performance and results
Understand and evaluate the financial impact from the drivers of the Credit & Banking product economics including changes in the yield curve, Fed balance sheet actions, flows, product mix, pricing impacts, etc
Provide analytical insight into the business drivers that contribute to the financial results directly the CFOs of the respective businesses
Improve the way we do business through review of current practices/processes, identifying deficiencies and/or weaknesses, and delivering solutions to enhance the current control framework of the business, particularly through innovation employing automation technology
Execute on ad-hoc requests and proactively gather the needed information accurately and efficiently
Work with front office to provide transparency and key drivers that contribute to their financial results
Challenge existing control operating model and identification of control issues/risks resulting in increased efficiency and implementation of effective control processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related degree
2+ years of experience
Highly motivated and a fast learner - self-starter with strong initiative
Pro-actively takes ownership of issues and executes through completion
Analytical, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
Able to work independently as well as in a team across global locations and multiple time zones
Excellent communication skills
Strong Excel skills required, other technical skills

Preferred

Knowledge of JPMC financial systems a plus
Experience with SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, etc. a plus
Preferred experience in the Financial Services industry or Controller / Accounting field
