Responsibilities
Support customer test/production facilities on regularly scheduled or as-required basis for calibrations other services
Perform calibration of RF instrumentation at customer facilities using a network analyzer
Provide professional responses in a timely manner to all customers
Exhibit excellent diagnostic abilities to isolate issues and repair equipment
Ability to analyze diverse requirements in RF/Microwave measurements with a good understanding of mechanical systems
Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop solutions
Troubleshoot and repair electronic hardware and software
Prepare and comprehensive Field Service Reports, Calibration Certificates, and other documentation in a timely manner
Manage time and priorities so that tasks are completed on or ahead of schedule
Develop outstanding relationships with Company’s customers to enhance future business opportunities
Ensure that customers are aware of Company’s new products (hardware and software) to support system upgrades
Support the customer in every way possible to keep their test systems and ranges operating in the manner required
Perform other duties as assigned
This position will require extensive domestic and international travel
Qualification
Required
Must be able to work and troubleshoot independently with minimum supervision
5+ years of directly applicable industry experience
Tactfully handle difficult situations and maintain composure under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Troubleshooting system level electronic systems
Ability to read schematic diagrams and engineering drawings
Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and software (Windows-based)
Additional requirements include ability to: Drive company vehicle, Pack and ship test equipment, Perform some lifting
Preferred
Performing bench level measurements of RF Active and Passive Components such as: LNA, Amplifiers, Couplers, Power Dividers, Limiters, Mixers, Frequency Multipliers, Diplexers, and Filters
Strong background in RF systems such as radar, satellite, or telecom
Experience with servo motors and control systems
Programming skills (C, C#, python, or similar)
Experience with terrestrial radar system
