Responsibilities

You will gain experience interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders
You will design, draft elements and will integrate data and perform fundamental analysis of project elements
You will work on challenging design projects working closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers to meet project deadlines within budget

Required

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
Up to four years of experience in a similar capacity
Successful completion of the EIT / FE exam or ability to complete the exam within six months of employment
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Willing to accept occasional out-of-town travel to meet project demands

Preferred

Prior experience working on projects for freight and commuter railroads and rail agencies
Additional training in MicroStation InRoads/Open Roads
