Responsibilities

Performs a variety of CT procedures, including invasive procedures and post processing
Available for other pediatric radiology duties as specified by the Chief Technologist
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs

Required

Graduate of approved AMA school of radiological technology
Hospital Clinical Experience Required
Basic computer experience required (1-2 years work experience or college level classes)
ARRT certified (compliant with all continuing education mandates)
ARRT registry eligible (must complete within one year)
Radiological student from an approved Radiology program that has completed all academic courses (must be registry eligible within three months and complete registry within one year)
BLS completed prior to going to the unit/ department and maintained going forward
