Remote Outbound Sales Specialist

The Forehand Agency is seeking a remote Outbound Sales Specialist to cultivate leads and drive revenue growth through proactive outreach. This role focuses on consultative selling and CRM management while collaborating with a small team to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of products, value propositions, and target markets to communicate benefits clearly to prospects
Design and execute targeted outbound outreach strategies tailored to specific financial institution profiles and decision-makers
Proactively contact prospects by phone and other approved channels to qualify opportunities and advance the sales process
Promptly follow up on and qualify inbound leads generated by marketing efforts
Conduct needs assessments, present appropriate solutions, and schedule meetings or demos with decision-makers as applicable
Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, including activity notes, opportunity stages, and required documentation
Track key performance metrics (activity, conversion rates, pipeline progression) and report results to management
Collaborate with colleagues to refine messaging, share best practices, and support overall team goals
Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and regulatory or licensing requirements relevant to the role

Required

Life and health insurance license, or the ability and commitment to obtain required licensure
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with proven ability to present complex concepts clearly by phone
Demonstrated ability to meet activity and conversion targets in a goal-oriented environment
Familiarity with CRM platforms and basic marketing tools; aptitude to learn new software quickly
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively while working remotely
Analytical aptitude for monitoring performance metrics and using data to improve results
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Previous outbound sales, inside sales, or contact-center experience preferred; motivated candidates with transferable skills are encouraged to apply
College coursework or degree is a plus but not required
