Responsibilities

Maintain a strong interest in solving problems through collaborative design and systems thinking
Plan and develop or adapt prototypical architectural projects with varying degrees of complexity both individually and as part of a team
Multi-task, establish priorities, and effectively communicate with team members, clients, and consultants as needed
Use strong technical proficiency in detailing, with a good understanding of building and accessibility codes
Ensure a high standard of excellence regarding the constructability of architectural sets with reviews throughout the phases of design and construction
Show knowledge and experience in all phases of a project, from kick off to construction administration
Maintain an interest in client management and ability to balance the needs of multiple project stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's Degree or higher in architecture
Architectural License
8+ years' minimum experience in architecture
Detailed knowledge of local, city and state code requirements
Experience in all phases of architectural projects
Experience designing and coordinating complex building systems
Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal and collaboration skills
Excellent verbal, written communication, and graphic skills
Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Preferred

Public Sector work experience, especially Higher Education, K-12 education, civic and federal government project types
Proficiency with Architectural software programs: Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
