Responsibilities

Required to provide oversight, guidance, direction, and leadership to all contracted team members assigned to designated Unified Communications support
Provide briefings to leadership, creating reports and documentation on demand, ensuring deliverable compliance, and interface between CIS and the team members
Provide overall responsibility for the success of the UC contract team effort, to include managing staff, process and project initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring and controlling all collaborative efforts of the UC contract staff
Assist in the creation of UC guidelines, policies, standards and procedures
This position must have strong verbal and writing skills, strong project management skills, and possess a strong and varied networks and unified communications background
The ability to represent the team in briefings and create presentations are key
This position is expected to have a good understanding of all UC systems, architecture, technologies and related activities – and be able to converse and provide recommendations to the team and CIS Federal team on unified communications activities and actions
Training required to support this expertise in existing and potential future developing technologies will be required and provided by the contractor

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
A minimum of 10 years' experience within the Unified Communications field, having significant work experience related to VoIP systems and video teleconferencing systems and leading a team

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification strongly desired
