Section Chief - Division of Primary Care Pediatrics
Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced physician leader to serve as Section Chief of their Division of Pediatric Primary Care. The Section Chief will oversee clinical operations, implement new clinical strategies, improve operational processes, and lead a multidisciplinary team to enhance pediatric primary care delivery.

Responsibilities
Conducts patient assessments and diagnoses medical conditions
Develops and implements treatment plans for patients in accordance with established protocols. Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary
Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment
Communicates with patients and their families to provide education and support
Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient and coordinates care with other healthcare professionals
Participates in the training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows as required
Stays up-to-date with medical advancements and research to provide the best possible care
Qualification
Required
Board certified in General Pediatrics
Minimum of 10 years of general pediatrics experience
Academic rank of associate professor or professor
Demonstrate excellence in clinical care, leadership and conflict resolution
Strong ability to collaborate effectively with administrative and nursing leadership
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine equivalent
Graduate of an approved Fellowship program if applicable
Medical License in the State of Ohio
Unrestricted licensed physician
Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
