The Trader Trainee Internship is a 10-week paid program designed to provide interns with hands-on experience in trading physical commodities and managing market risks, while working closely with industry experts.

Responsibilities

Interns will complete a 10-week program and learn how to trade physical commodities in global markets while managing the substantial risks inherent in volatile markets

Program starts with a comprehensive training seminar designed to help you succeed in your position

You will gain familiarity with the physical flow of commodities in both domestic and international markets

You will be assigned hands-on, robust work, goals, and objectives tied to real business needs

Interns have direct access to senior traders and managers in an open working environment that is designed to encourage the free flow of ideas and information

Interns are encouraged to actively participate, ask questions, and offer opinions

Required

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Critical thinking, long-term vision, and the ability to think on your feet

Demonstrated interest in trading and/or markets

Detailed-oriented, strong organizational skills, and have a genuine interest in learning about trading physical commodities

Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data

Open to relocation both domestically and internationally

Pursuing a degree in agricultural economics, economics, finance, or mathematics preferred but not required

Seeking college students in junior or senior year

Preferred

Language skills are a plus
