Robotics and Manufacturing Engineer
Norsk Hydro is a world-leading aluminium extrusion business with a strong focus on safety and employee welfare. The Robotics and Manufacturing Engineer will act as a liaison between Program Engineering and Production, responsible for developing and implementing procedures for assembling and manufacturing aluminum extrusions.

Responsibilities
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes
Develop and implement new process techniques and procedures
Continuously analyze manufacturing process flows to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput
Collaborate with suppliers to define product specifications, arrange procurement of parts/materials, and ensure compliance with quality standards
Work closely with the manufacturing team to develop and deliver technical training for staff
Provide engineering support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production
Design and approve tooling prior to fabrication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
Basic math skills, including the ability to read/write small numbers and perform arithmetic calculations
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and responding quickly to issues
