Responsibilities

Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring
Receive, relay, and document all verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patients’ medical record
Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices
Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians
Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Required

Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring
Receive, relay, and document all verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patients' medical record
Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices
Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
High School or GED required
Required: Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana. Current ARRT (R)(CT) registry
OR Required: Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana. Must obtain ARRT (R)(CT) within one year of hire
Exceptional communication and technical skills
Takes initiative

Ability to work independently without direct supervision of assistance from other CT Technologists
