Post-Doctoral Research Fellow - Hsieh Lab
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on cancer treatment and research. The Hsieh Lab is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to investigate the mechanisms of post-transcriptional gene regulation in cancer cell behavior using advanced genetic and molecular techniques.

Responsibilities
Utilize murine and human genetics, whole transcriptome ribosome profiling, MSR-seq, functional genomics, RNA labeling/sequencing techniques, TMT mass spectrometry, various cellular and molecular assays, and a biorepository of primary and metastatic human prostate and bladder cancer samples to understand how the translation apparatus controls normal physiology and promotes cancer phenotypes
Qualification
Required
We are looking for exceptional candidates with a recent PhD and/or MD
A record of productive research
The ability to work independently as well as in collaborative research efforts
Preferred
A strong background in murine work, high throughput methods, RNA biology, and/or computational biology are highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
