Responsibilities
Oversee every phase of sanitary sewer projects, from planning to design and implementation, ensuring quality and efficiency at every step
Build and nurture client partnerships, understanding their needs and delivering creative, cost-effective solutions
Manage contracts, purchase orders, project documentation, and daily correspondence with clients and subcontractors
Take charge of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, while ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting
Lead monthly project review meetings, communicating progress and updates to clients, management, and project teams
Develop and implement health and safety plans, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Embrace a “seller/doer” mindset, actively developing new business opportunities and expanding services provided
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required
Minimum of 7 years of industry experience; minimum of 4 years of project management experience required
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
Proven ability to prepare proposals, project plans, authorizations, and closeout documents
Strong skills in project accounting, budgeting, and financial management
Experience interpreting client contracts and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Articulate communicator who adapts messaging for diverse audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
Ability to travel as needed
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification preferred
Familiarity with sanitary sewer rehabilitation and design
Knowledge of Deltek Vision, MS Project, or Primavera P6 is a plus
Consulting industry experience highly preferred
