Assistant Director of Housing Operations

The Assistant Director of Housing Operations will oversee housing operations for the East Falls campus, manage housing assignments, and supervise staff while ensuring compliance with community standards policies.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for all housing facilities & operations initiatives for university-owned student housing on the East Falls campus
Provide direct supervision, training, development and evaluate the Resident Director for Housing Operations
Directly manages & oversees housing assignments, billing, room changes/selection processes through the StarRez software system
Develop professional and paraprofessional staff training in the areas of housing assignment processes, selection processes, occupancy, room condition reports and all other relevant processes
Serve in an on-call duty rotation to support staff emergency response during evenings, weekends, and holidays
Serves as a Community Standards Officer for residential facilities policy and community standards policy violations
Assist the Assistant Dean/Director of Residential Life and Community Standards with vision & leadership for housing occupancy management, including but not limited to planning, reporting, management, communication & marketing
Other duties as assigned by Assistant Dean/Director of Residential Life and Community Standards

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum three to five years of progressive experience in higher education

Preferred

Master's Degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling, or a similar area preferred
