Responsibilities
Perform CAD Drafting with AutoDesk Civil 3D while utilizing survey field data
Prepare Site/Civil drawings including grading, utility, and SWM / E&S plans
Prepare various forms of site/civil details & exhibits
Provide office support; this includes performing area, slope, and volume computations
Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved
Perform field work on an as-needed basis; this includes observing construction and assisting Surveyors
Provide mentorship to other staff members
Additional duties may be assigned, as needed
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
5+ years of professional experience working in Civil Design and/or Civil Drafting
Valid Driver's License
Preferred
Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or a related technical field of study is a plus!
Experience working on a variety of Land Development projects; experience with both greenfield and brownfield projects is a plus!
Proficiency with engineering / CADD tools; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred!
Proficiency on standard Microsoft Office software applications
Proven ability to utilize technical mathematics
Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); proven active-listening skills is a plus!
