Pennoni Associates is a vibrant team of innovators shaping the future of engineering. They are seeking a Highway Project Manager/Engineer to manage transportation infrastructure projects, coordinate with clients, and supervise project development.

Responsibilities

Manage the development of transportation infrastructure projects, which includes client coordination

Coordinating and working with internal staff to perform needed field work, design calculations, plan preparation, quantity calculations, and submissions to various clients

Responsible for the overall development of all facets of a project - supervise and mentor staff with the development of geometry design, cross sections, grading plans, erosion and sediment control, hydrology and drainage calculations

Participate in the development of proposals and statements of interest for future projects

Responsible for the scope, schedule and budget of the project

Required

Experience/knowledge of PennDOT design criteria

Ability to plan, budget, and schedule preparation on all phases of an engineering design project using engineering principles

Ability to work independently or with teams

Experience working with clients, and teaming partners

Efficient use of engineering software, including ORD and 3D modeling software

Preferred

12+ years of transportation design experience

PE License preferred

Ability to work independently to solve engineering design issues and provide justification for the work, coordinate with internal staff as well as external clients and teaming partners

Ability to provide direction to more junior level staff during project development

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Looks for and seizes opportunities to improve work products

Has a sense of pride and ownership in work product
