Responsibilities

Repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures, systems, and functional components
Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, structural and accessories using hand tools and power tools
Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment rivet gun and drills
Research and understand FAA technical data relevant to assigned tasks
Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data
Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed
Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition
Maintains the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner
Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor or other management personnel

Required

H.S. Diploma or an equivalent
Must have at least two (2) to three (3) years of experience working within the aviation industry as a mechanic
Attention to detail is imperative
Must be flexible to work any shift
Must be able to multi-task
Must be efficient and able to document maintenance performed on required forms
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product
Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders, and/or service stands
Normal or corrected vision and hearing are required
Subject to continual loud noise

Preferred

Large commercial aircraft experience preferred but corporate, general, or military aircraft experience will also be considered
