Vascular Technologist
AtlantiCare is a healthcare organization seeking a Vascular Technologist to join their diagnostic team. The role involves performing non-invasive vascular ultrasound exams and providing patient care while adhering to clinical protocols and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities
Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound exams to aid in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of peripheral and cerebrovascular diseases
Conduct comprehensive vascular ultrasounds, including carotid duplex, dialysis access, abdominal aortic aneurysm, renal/mesenteric duplex, extremity arterial and venous duplex exams, venous reflux, and post-intervention studies
Prepare the exam room and equipment following infection control and safety protocols
Ensure proper patient positioning and ergonomics to maximize comfort and data quality, and prevent injury
Provide patient care aligned with diagnostic medical sonographer scope of practice
Support student clinical education when applicable
Contribute to organizational goals through quality customer service, performance improvement, teamwork, and cooperation
Qualification
Required
Sonography education, training, and/or experience in vascular ultrasound
Demonstrated competence in vascular sonography, including sonographer certification Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program required
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire or transfer
1-2 years of non-invasive vascular ultrasound
Preferred
Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning (e.g., continuing medical education, staff training)
CAAHEP accredited Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) school preferred
Experience in a dedicated vascular lab is preferred
Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire
