Responsibilities

Assist with ongoing projects by contributing to planning, research, and execution. The projects vary depending on the field
Gain proficiency in tools and technologies used at Toyota such as programing languages, data visualization platforms, or manufacturing systems
Grow professional network through participating in team meetings and communicating cross-functionally
Interns are encouraged to observe current practices and suggest improvements. This may include observing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, proposing new methods, or supporting implementation
Support Toyota’s efforts in areas like carbon neutrality and vehicle development by participating in testing or process improvement

Required

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have reliable transportation
Must have the right to work in the United States and not require Toyota sponsorship for immigration-related employment (e.g., H-1B, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, TN, or F-1 OPT extension) now or in the future
Minimum GPA of 2.7 or higher
Must have completed at least one full academic year at a two- or four-year college or university post-high school (sophomore standing or above)
Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited degree program (this includes both two-year and four-year colleges) studying in a STEM discipline or related field: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science/Data Analytics, Packaging Engineering, Mechatronics
