Responsibilities

Deploy, manage and maintain on-premises Hyper-V/VMWare/Nutanix HA cluster and Windows Server infrastructure, including enterprise storage, database servers, AD objects, and mobile devices

Administer, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance complex network infrastructure, including Palo Alto / Fortinet firewalls, Cisco switches, Ruckus wireless access points, internet connectivity, telephony systems, and radio communication infrastructure, including support for digital mobile radio (DMR) systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability and operational efficiency

Provide support to Mine site end users, including user onboarding/offboarding and ensure that IT service requests and technical issues are addressed promptly and efficiently

Install, configure, and maintain computers, workstations, and other end user hardware and peripherals

Collaborate closely with the Global Infrastructure and Cyber Security team to ensure compliance with the Corporate IT policies, cybersecurity standards and best practices, while driving continuous improvement initiatives for GEM IT infrastructure

Maintain backup systems to ensure data integrity and availability

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems; provide support for all services relating to IT systems

Create and update IT technical documentation including network diagrams, system configurations, asset inventory and knowledge articles

Respond to alerts from various security monitoring dashboards for Antivirus, Malware, Firewall Management, Active Directory, Network Performance, SIEM, User Behavior Analysis, and Cloud Services
