New Grad, Entry LevelAmerican Structurepoint is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer to join their Investigative/Forensic Engineering Group in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will investigate damaged buildings, assess structural conditions, and design repair solutions while working alongside licensed engineers and architects.

Responsibilities
Join senior engineers on forensic investigations to figure out how and why structures like buildings or bridges experience damage or deterioration
Help design solutions to repair or restore real-world structures made of wood, masonry, concrete, and steel
Contribute to technical reports that document your findings and support project decisions
Use AutoCAD and/or Revit to create digital drawings and 3D models that bring design ideas to life
Other tasks as needed to support the team
Qualification
Required
Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program (other degrees may be considered with relevant experience)
A valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from the office or project sites
Strong work ethic and a growth mindset — you're eager to learn, try new things, and take initiative
Ability/willingness to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and scaffolding, work from heights, walk roofs, access crawl spaces and other areas of limited accessibility
Preferred
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred
FE Certification (E.I.T.) or working towards it is preferred
