As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will collaborate with the CTO to shape the product, mentor the frontend team, and implement high-performance frontend systems while integrating AI services into the application.

Responsibilities
Design & Build: Architect and implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance frontend systems with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
Full-Stack Collaboration: Contribute backend endpoints in FastAPI (Python) and integrate them seamlessly with your UI work. This also involves working closely with product and design to create the best experiences for our clients
CI/CD & DevOps: Optimize our frontend CI/CD pipelines, monitor deployments on AWS, and ensure observability and reliability
AI Integration: Embed RAG workflows, structured LLM outputs, and real-time data analytics into the user experience
Mentorship & Best Practices: Guide and grow our junior/mid-level frontend engineers, enforce design-system standards, and establish scalable component architectures
Product Strategy: Shape feature roadmaps, API schemas, and system limitations in partnership with the CPO and CTO, always with our customers’ needs front and center
Qualification
Required
3+ years of production-grade frontend development, with a solid portfolio or compelling personal projects
Expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript
Keen eye for design and strong posture for testing/QA, automating where possible
Hands-on experience building or integrating AI applications (RAG, AI agents, retrieval services)
Familiarity with FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Strong DevOps sensibility: comfortable optimizing CI/CD, observability, and performance
Excellent communication skills and a knack for mentorship in a collaborative startup environment
A passion for staying ahead of AI and web-tech trends
Preferred
Experience with PostgreSQL, pgvector, data warehouses/lakes, or Retool
Background in fintech or deal-workflow products
Proficiency with ML frameworks like PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex
Testing frameworks (Jest, Pytest), data pipelines (Dagster), message queues (Celery, Redis), or CI tools (CircleCI)
Prior founder or early-stage startup experience
