Project Lead III - Mission Assurance Planner

Responsibilities

Serves as a Mission Assurance (MA) Planner responsible for the direct planning of complex Mission Assurance Readiness Exercises at EAFB
Incumbent will plan installation exercises-based on Commanders Intent, design operational exercises to include scenario development
Leverage the totality of the Military Decision-Making Process to analyze draft exercise objectives, develop Master Scenario Events Lists, Commanders Decision Briefs, Commander's Confirmation Briefs, scenario design charrettes, and rehearsals; must have complete understanding of the military orders process, timing and distribution including Warning Orders (WARNORDS), Operation Orders (OPORDS), and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs)
The Planner will perform vulnerability assessments, All Hazard Threat Assessments/Analysis, along with conducting Mission Analysis Risk Management
Responsible for comprehensive scenario design and associated mission analysis
Responsible for the command and control and execution of exercises through Exercise Control (EXCON)
Performs exercise closeout with After Action Reviews (AAR) and archiving exercise documents and developed products to ensure Wing mission requirements and readiness are addressed, and a continuum of readiness proficiency is archived

Required

Must have a bachelor's or higher degree, or any combination of formal education, training and experience equivalent to 10 years involvement in technically demanding program or project assignments
Possess knowledge of project management fundamentals and working knowledge of systems engineering processes that complement project management
Must have demonstrated knowledge and skills in resource organization and allocation, planning and budgeting, continuous quality and process improvement, configuration management, setting and measurement of program goals, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
The incumbent must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
Must have or obtain and maintain a current DoD Security clearance and Special Access
Must be a U.S. citizen
