Responsibilities
Provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment procedures within the realm of the Sleep Lab
This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education
It may also include caring for patients requiring respiratory therapy not limited to medication administration and care of Trach/Vent patients
Qualification
Required
High school education or equivalent
Current licensure by the State of Wisconsin as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required
Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required
Analytical skills necessary to resolve complex clinical problems relating to the integration of anatomy and physiology to sleep/wake pathology and patient safety and welfare
Preferred
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and BRPT (Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists) preferred; required within 24 months of hire
Benefits
$5K bonus! $2500. is paid out after successful completion of your introductory period and another $2500. is paid out after successful completion of your six months in the position.
