The role involves learning the fabrication and installation process for granite and quartz countertops, operating machinery, and ensuring quality and safety in the production of finished products.

Responsibilities
Fabrication and installation process knowledge
Can read a tape measure to the 16th inch
Ability to lift heavy objects
Assist with client viewings of countertop slabs
Execute production, material fulfillment, slab inventory management and maintenance
Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively to complete customer orders
Cut, grind and polish stone using hand tools and high-powered water jet saws
Other duties as assigned by your manager
Qualification
Required
Fabrication and installation process knowledge
Can read a tape measure to the 16th inch
Ability to lift heavy objects
Assist with client viewings of countertop slabs
Execute production, material fulfillment, slab inventory management and maintenance
Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively to complete customer orders
Cut, grind and polish stone using hand tools and high-powered water jet saws
Ability to recognize flaws within a workflow and problem-solve to find a creative solution
Can read a detailed shop sheet/ticket with measurement specifications to check dimensions, drawings, form, fit and function of countertops
Ability to remain focused on the task at hand and meet deadlines to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled to exact specifications
Must be able to exhibit great attention to detail, and communicate with fellow employees in a professional manner
Having a thorough understanding of safe warehouse operations
Ability to learn how to operate the necessary machinery and hand tools needed to complete customer orders
Capacity to work in a team environment in order to creatively/safely solve problems as they arise
Warehouse experience (Forklift certification is a plus, however, our team will provide training if necessary!)
Willingness to learn about CNC machinery. (Training will be provided!)
