New Grad, Entry LevelTesla is seeking highly motivated individuals for the role of Engineering Process Technician in Battery Cell Assembly. This position involves setting up, operating, and adjusting high volume production equipment, while supporting manufacturing engineers in process development and improvements.

Responsibilities
Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet safety, quality and efficiency standards for equipment in varying development stages
Identify problems using data and potential solutions to troubleshoot issues as they arise during regular production and engineering builds
Develop operating procedures for equipment or new processes in standard format
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to develop test methods for process improvements
Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptime
Support work area safety, cleanliness, material usage and organization
Support production leadership at times in organizing associates and manpower to perform engineering trials on equipment
Qualification
Required
Experience in automated/semi-automated manufacturing environment with hands on equipment operation and/or troubleshooting experience
Excellent attention to detail, good organization, analytical and reasoning skills
Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
Strong proficiency in common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access, etc.)
Experience utilizing SQL queries to access the data base and pull reports/data
Must have command of the English language both written and verbal
Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrain
Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs. including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach
Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: PAPR, safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
Preferred
Experience with any data analysis software (Minitab, JMP, etc) is highly preferred
