Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking to recruit an academic Hematopathologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. The successful candidate will join the Division of Hematopathology, providing comprehensive diagnostic reports and subspecialty diagnostic services while contributing to translational research support.

Responsibilities

Join the Division of Hematopathology which includes the bone marrow, cytogenetics, and flow cytometry laboratories

Provide comprehensive diagnostic reports that integrate complex information from morphological assessment, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometric analysis, cytogenetic, and molecular genetic studies

Provide subspecialty diagnostic services and translational research support to an outstanding and enthusiastic clinical and scientific staff

Maintain a collaborative environment with ample opportunity for mentorship

Qualification

Required

License or permit to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York

Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Pathology or a specialty of Anatomic Pathology, Experimental Pathology, Laboratory Medicine, Cytogenetics, Molecular Diagnostics, Flow Cytometry, Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology or Autopsy Pathology

Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the field of Pathology or a specialty of Anatomic Pathology, Experimental Pathology, Laboratory Medicine, Cytogenetics, Molecular Diagnostics and Flow Cytometry, Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, or Autopsy Pathology

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices
