Project Controls Intern Summer 2026
Westinghouse Electric Company is a leader in providing clean energy solutions, and they are seeking a Project Controls Intern for the summer of 2026. In this role, the intern will assist project engineers and controllers with various project controls activities, including planning, scheduling, and optimizing project performance.

Responsibilities
Initiate and plan all controls aspects of a project, which includes project baselines
Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced, and overall project performance is optimized
Responsible for all aspects of project controls activities including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and earned value assessment
Close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools
Cultivate relationships with the team, customer, and other partners (e.g. internal management) to facilitate successful project completion
Implement improvement opportunities which will add value
Qualification
Required
Pursuing bachelor's degree in project management, Engineering, or related technical discipline required
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Complete Sophomore year of college
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Familiar with the Project Management Institute (PMI®)'s Project Management Body of Knowledge
High-level technical knowledge of nuclear power plants
No relocation assistance provided
