As a Mechanical Student Intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed engineer, assisting in HVAC system designs, Revit/BIM modeling, and site visits while contributing to various projects in educational, healthcare, commercial, and science & technology markets.

Responsibilities

Under guidance of a licensed engineer, may perform uncomplicated designs of ductwork, piping, controls and equipment selection for HVAC systems for building design

With supervisory oversight assist in Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings of HVAC systems from Schematic Design to Construction Administration phases

Assist in the review and markup of shop drawing submittals

Recommend ways to improve process, quality, and coordination efforts

May visit job site to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site

May perform other duties as required

Qualification

Revit MEPHVAC designEngineering design programsVerbal communicationWritten communication

Required

Enrolled in and working toward a Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP) preferred
