As a Technology Student Intern, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, assisting in the design of technology systems and participating in the preparation of construction documents for various projects. This role has the potential to evolve into a full-time entry-level position based on business needs.

Responsibilities

May design technology systems including telecommunications systems, security systems, nurse call systems, public address systems, and audiovisual systems per standards and applicable codes

Participate in the preparation of construction documents and basic specifications of systems for projects

Assist in the review and markup of shop drawing submittals

May visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Site visits frequently require physical walk-through of site

Required

Enrolled in and working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit, Navisworks or similar applications) preferred
