Responsibilities
Quote systems and assemblies per sales request
Establish cost of systems and assemblies per quantity requested
Assist sales in all applications and make joint technical sales calls
Work with customer to develop and define exact requirement needs
Design Power Unit and Manifold circuits per customer requirement
Prototype Manifold Assemblies and make required changes prior to production
Make and document all changes of Prototypes and have customer approve
Re-cost assemblies of existing jobs as required
Process customer purchase orders for System Group assemblies
Develop and maintain bill of materials for System Group assemblies
Acknowledge customer orders for Systems Group orders placed
Provide sketches and drawings as required for jobs
Responsible for jobs assigned by Systems Group Manager on the production floor
Assist shop technician with Power Unit layout and approve prior to assembly
Document all changes to Power Units and assemblies as required
Communicates and follows up on all sales leads
Communicates back to customers and suppliers in a timely manner the progress of orders, quotes, and other information required
Acknowledges all orders back to customers in a timely fashion
Qualification
Required
Two year Fluid Power Associates Degree or a 4 year college degree in a related field
Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience as a drafter/designer
Five years experience in related field
Ability to Commute: Plymouth, MN 55441 (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Plymouth, MN 55441: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Preferred
Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
